Vatsyn Technologies ("we", "our", "us") operates the mobile game Bingola (the "App"). This
Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that
information.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the
App.
1. Information We Collect
Bingola offers both single-player Tambola gameplay against the computer and real-time multiplayer rooms where you
can play with friends online. The App does not require account creation, sign-in, or registration and we do not
collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information.
If you only play against the computer, no profile is created and no information described in this section is
collected or sent to our servers.
1a. Information We Collect Directly
When you create or join an online multiplayer room for the first time, we automatically generate and assign to
you:
Pseudonymous User Identifier (UUID): a randomly generated unique identifier used to recognise
your profile across sessions. This identifier is stored securely on your device and on our servers, and is never
shared with other players (see Section 3).
Auto-generated Username: a display name in the format guest followed by a random
number (e.g. guest4729), assigned automatically. This username is visible to other players in multiplayer rooms.
Platform and App Version: your device operating system (iOS or Android), app version number,
and version code, collected to support app compatibility and update management.
1b. Information Collected During Multiplayer
When you create or join a multiplayer room, we collect and temporarily store:
Room Data: the room configuration, invite code, host identifier, and game rules.
Participant Data: a temporary, room-specific participant identifier and your username as they
appear within the room, your ticket selections, and game events such as number claims and prize outcomes. Your
permanent UUID is never disclosed to other players — only this temporary identifier and your username are
visible to them.
Connection Data: a transient socket identifier used to manage your real-time connection
during gameplay. This identifier changes with each session and is not stored permanently.
Reports and Blocks: the App allows players to report or block other players during
multiplayer sessions. If you submit or are the subject of a report or block, we store the relevant user
identifiers, room ID, and (for reports) the reason selected, in order to review conduct and enforce these
protections.
1c. Information Collected via Third-Party SDKs
The App integrates Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, solely to detect, diagnose, and fix
crashes and bugs. It may collect:
Crash and Diagnostic Data: crash logs, stack traces, the type and time of the crash, app
version, and app/device state at the time of a crash.
Device Information: device model, operating system version, available memory and storage
state, language, and country/region.
Crashlytics Installation Identifier: a randomly generated identifier that Crashlytics assigns
to your app installation in order to group crash reports from the same device. This is not your device's
advertising identifier, and it is reset if you reinstall the App.
This information is processed by Google on our behalf in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase Crashlytics includes Google's measurement component as a dependency, but we have disabled
analytics/usage-event collection on both Android and iOS. As a result, this component does not collect any
analytics or usage data, and Crashlytics is used only for crash and diagnostic reporting — it does not record your
in-app activity or behavior.
The App does not contain any advertising SDK and does not display advertisements. We do not access your device's
advertising identifier, and no App Tracking Transparency permission is requested on iOS. The App does not use
Firebase Analytics for usage analytics, and does not collect your approximate or precise location.
1d. Server and Security Logs
Our backend servers temporarily log IP addresses of incoming requests for the purpose of rate limiting and abuse
prevention. These logs do not contain your username or UUID, are not linked to your in-app profile, and are
automatically deleted within 7 days.
1e. Deep Links
The App supports deep links (e.g. https://vatsyntechnologies.com/bingola/join/[code]) that prefill a room join
code when
opening the App from a shared link. No personal data is collected or transmitted through this mechanism — only the
room code itself is passed to the App.
2. How We Use Information
To assign and maintain your pseudonymous identity across sessions so your username persists between app
launches.
To enable real-time multiplayer gameplay, including room creation, invite code generation, participant
management, and game state synchronisation.
To display your username and a temporary participant identifier to other players within the same game room.
To review and act on player reports and blocks in order to maintain a safe multiplayer environment.
To detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical issues via Firebase Crashlytics.
To manage app compatibility and support future update delivery using platform and version information.
To protect the App against abuse and enforce rate limits using temporary IP address logs.
To prefill a room join code when you open the App via a shared deep link.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
Other Players: your auto-generated username and a temporary, room-specific participant
identifier are visible to other participants within the same multiplayer room. Your permanent user identifier
(UUID) is never disclosed to other players.
Third-Party Service Providers: we share crash and diagnostic data with Google (Firebase
Crashlytics) as described in Section 4. This provider processes data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
Legal Requirements: we may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to
valid requests by public authorities.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — used to collect crash reports and diagnostic data to improve
app stability. Firebase
Privacy and Security
The App does not use Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, or any other advertising or usage-analytics service.
5. Data Storage and International Transfers
Your data is processed and stored using the following infrastructure:
Our servers and database are hosted in the United States. Your UUID, username, platform, app
version, and game session data are stored here.
Our backend server processes real-time game events in memory during active sessions and does
not store personal data permanently. Temporary server logs are retained for up to 7 days.
Google services (Firebase Crashlytics) may process data on servers located outside your
country, including in the United States, in accordance with Google's privacy policies.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data transfer
regulations, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not provide
the same level of data protection as your home country. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
6. Data Retention
We retain different categories of data for different periods:
User profiles (UUID and auto-generated username) are retained for as long as you actively use
the App's online multiplayer features. If your profile has had no multiplayer activity for 12 consecutive
months, it will be automatically and permanently anonymized — your username will be replaced and your identifier
will no longer be usable. Playing multiplayer at least once within any rolling 12-month period keeps your
profile active.
Report and block records are retained to support ongoing player safety and moderation, and
are not deleted when a profile is anonymized due to inactivity or deleted by request.
Installation records (platform and app version) are captured once when your profile is
created, and are retained for as long as your profile remains active.
Game session data including multiplayer rooms, participant records, game events, ticket data,
and invite codes are retained for 7 days after the session ends and permanently deleted thereafter.
Server logs including IP addresses are retained for a maximum of 7 days and automatically
deleted.
Firebase Crashlytics data is retained for 90 days in accordance with Firebase's default
retention policy.
Invite codes are generated by our servers and shared at your discretion with other players. They are deleted from
our servers after 7 days regardless of whether they were used.
If you uninstall and reinstall the App, a new pseudonymous profile and username will be created the next time you
use online multiplayer. Your previous profile remains on our servers and remains subject to the 12-month
inactivity policy described above.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country). We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
The multiplayer feature allows usernames to be visible to other players. We recommend that parents and guardians
supervise children's use of multiplayer features and ensure usernames do not contain real names or identifying
information.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App, including restricting database access
exclusively to our backend server, not exposing database credentials to client applications, and storing your
session credentials in your device's secure storage (such as Keychain on iOS or encrypted storage on Android).
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices
You can delete your profile data at any time, instantly, directly within the App via Settings → Delete My
Data. This immediately and permanently anonymizes your profile, ends any active session, and cannot be undone.
Alternatively, you may contact us at the email address below to request deletion of your profile data.
You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all future data collection. Your pseudonymous profile will
remain on our servers as described in Section 6, unless you delete it beforehand using the method above.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated
"Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact Us
